I craft immersive, systems-driven game experiences at the intersection of player agency and emerging tech — building worlds in Unreal Engine 5.

I'm a Game Designer and Kingston University MA graduate based in London, dedicated to crafting immersive, systems-driven experiences. My approach sits at the intersection of player agency and emerging technology — specialising in systems design and gameplay engineering with Unreal Engine 5. I turn rough concepts into shippable, satisfying mechanics, from design docs and prototypes to production-ready systems.

I've always been more curious about the people behind the controller than the games themselves. So when a community survey of 69 players surfaced on r/IndianGamers, I spent some time turning the raw numbers into a visual study, and a clear picture of the Indian gamer started to emerge. The core player is young (77% are aged 18–29), overwhelmingly male (91%), and was hooked early: two in three started gaming before the age of 10. Their taste was shaped by one era above all. 43.5% had their first games on the PS2, and almost nine in ten started before the PS4 existed. They live on PC (94%), but more than half also play on mobile, which makes switching between desk and pocket the norm, not the exception. What they play is just as revealing. Half name AAA as their favourite, and only one in five picks indie. Yet 74% rate niche indie titles 8/10 or higher, which suggests indie's real challenge is discovery, not quality. On generative AI, seven in ten feel negative, but most are fine with it behind the scenes in code. Their line is AI they can see. It's a small, self-selected sample, so I treat it as a signal rather than a conclusion. But it raises questions I want to keep exploring: what shapes a player's taste, and how should that change the way we design for them? #GameDesign #PlayerResearch #IndianGaming #GamesUserResearch #DataVisualisation
